WW2 started in 1939 and it started because of WW1, Germany was in great shame, the treaty of Versalles in post-WW1 meant Germany couldn't build an airforce or a sumbarine fleet, it also restricted all other military classes. Germany also lost large amounts of land during WW1 further shaming them. Hitler was a troop in WW1 and remarked "what a shame this is to our country" Many factors played into WW2
