Developing nations (formerly 3rd world countries) don't have unemployment statistics as we know them in the Western and developed World! Essentially there are no unemployed people just different tiers of existence. The lowest tier is a very menial manual worker, maybe sorting refuse or the like in exchange for money or living. Servants in such countries are often thought of as a form of social welfare for if the person was not in service then they would not have an income or job.
