Judaism was the first monotheistic religion (born in Palestine, about 2500 years ago). However, there was a pharaoh in Egypt called Amenophis IV (in Greek it is Amenhotep) who replaced religion of Amon with a mystical monotheistic religion of Aten (or Aton). He even changed his name to Akhenaten. According to this religion all men were equal in the love of an only God, of whom the pharaoh was the prophet. He created a new capital called Akhetaten.
Judaism, loosely speaking, as in Seth's time at Gen.4:26, "call upon the name," i.e., meaning to have communion with and connected to the one God from the Hebrew aspect.
This is a very uneasy topic. There are people who have had contact to the afterlife or a form of after life. There are people who wish that there could be an afterlife, but don't believe in it. There are people who believe in a religion, and people who only believe in religion so they have something to emotionally attach themselves to.
Both believe in Heaven and HellBoth believe their religion is the only truthBoth recognize Jesus (though in very different ways)Judaism has none of these beliefs.

Basically, ALL religions claim to teach a message of Our Lord - and many of them have precepts that are very useful for daily life. It is up to you to decide which one, or which ones, you believe.
I believe that it is Hinduism, though mediums, psychics and clairvoyants mention chakra or something very similar.
Christians believe that our religion was brought to us by the Lord Jesus Christ who was a Jew, and the first Christians were all Jews. The Jews were the apple of God's eye and are still very precious to Him.
I believe 1970 was the first year of the challenger.
Touchy question. If you're very willing and sure you don't believe in one, then yes. it matters solely on what you believe and want to do. =D
