For the Americans at least it was the m16a2 rifle with the newly developed beretta m9 for a sidearm
The US also introduced new weapons such as the laser guided missle, heat seeking missle, and they even introduced new aircraft such as the A10-A Thunderbolt, the F16, and they even put the Stealth Bomber to good use.
Although the US Army's standard 105mm Artillery and 155mm Self Propelled Artillery saw some service; the primary ordinance was delivered by smart technology (Cruise Missiles) and AIRCRAFT.
Almost the complete inventory of the available and non NCB military weapons by a number of different countries involved in the operation were used in the period during and after Desert Storm
The standard issue M-16 Rifle.

Russia sold weapons to Iran and Iraq.
there have been many reports that France has sold weapons to Iraq but very little about if they are at war with them .
Weapons of mass destruction
In order for something to be successful, it has to have goals. The only goals of the Iraq War that are clear were to get Iraq's weapons of mass destruction and to create a democracy. There were no weapons of mass destruction and Iraq is not necessarily a democracy. Additionally hundreds of thousands of Iraqis died and a few thousand coalition soldiers died. It would seem like the Iraq War was not successful.
Continuously allow UN weapons inspectors to make sure that Iraq was not trying to create weapons of mass destruction.
There were allegations that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction and considering that Iraq famously used weapons of mass destruction during the Iran-Iraq War, such an allegation was not preposterous.
In World War I the Germans used phosgene and chlorine gases on their enemies. During the Iran-Iraq War, Iraq used chemical weapons on the Kurds in Halabja.
Chemical weapons were used in Iraq in the 1970s and 1980s to attack Kurds living in the North of the country as part of an intentional genocide against the Kurdish people. In addition, these weapons were also used by Iraq against the Iranians during the Iran-Iraq War.
As members of the United Nations, Iran and Iraq are bound by the Geneva Conventions which clearly prohibit the use of chemical and biological weapons. Both countries, but Iraq moreso, used these types of horrific weapons during the Iran-Iraq War. In Iraq, they were also used against the indigenous Kurdish population in the north of the country.

No
Mostly from the Soviet Union, but some from Free World countries as well.
in all likelihood no nuclear weapons will be used against Iran or Iraq. But if they were used it would cause the economy to shift into a war economy if the nations retaliated.
