For the Americans at least it was the m16a2 rifle with the newly developed beretta m9 for a sidearm

The US also introduced new weapons such as the laser guided missle, heat seeking missle, and they even introduced new aircraft such as the A10-A Thunderbolt, the F16, and they even put the Stealth Bomber to good use.
