The optimal time to breed a Boer doe is when they reach 90 pounds or 9 months, whichever comes first.
You can breed them later if you feel they are too small, but it may lead to birthing difficulties later on. (Although I've never had a problem with this so far.)
Boer bucks can be sexually mature as early as 3 months, so make sure they are separated from females to prevent accidental breeding.
Boer---they originated from South Africa. "Boer" means farmer in Dutch.
A boer or any breed of goat do NOT have upper front teeth. Neither do cows or sheep. They have a boney pallet with ridges. They do have molars to chew with.
Yes you would get a boer pygmy
A baby goat is called a kid =)
The amount that an individual goat will sell for depends on the animal's age, bloodlines, whether or not it is a registered animal and other similar variables. I have had people give me goats for free. And while I have never bought a "five figure goat" personally, I have seen them. The sales catalogues and goat magazines show some of the records of these high end sales figures for excellent breeding stock. Local (farm animal livestock) auctions frequently publish their weekly sales figures in the agricultural journals and papers.

boer goats because they are bred and raised primarily for there meat production
Boer, Spanish, and the Australian Kiko are the three most popular breeds of goats raised for their meat.
Yes they can, however, Boer goats are generally larger than pygmy goats. So it is recommended to breed a female Boer to a male Pygmy. If it is the other way around, stay close to the female when she is giving birth as she may need your assistance.
Any breed can be great for showing. I show boers and boer crosses because they are relatively cheap, but you can make money off of them and they have awesome personalities if they are used to being around people. My advice to you is to research various breeds depending on what area of the goat industry you are interested in whether it is meat, dairy, or fur. In addition, you could check on the American Boer Goat Association, International Boer Goat Association, American Dairy Goat Association, or other breed sites to see which kinds of goats have more shows in your area because your area may not have some for particular breeds. For example, there are at least 2 boer and dairy shows within an hour of me, but no pygmy.
Typically the majority of meat goats are from the breed "Boer Goat". Boer goats are very stocky and muscular . Typically they have a brown head, neck and chest while the rest of the body is white. There are also rangeland (or feral) goats that are slaughtered for their meat.
The scientific name for the Boer goat is Capra aegagrus hircus.
a boer goat is a goat that kids or adults show at goat shows, whether shows and you can make money if you win grand champion, reserved champion, (2nd place) and 3rd place. A Boer goat is a breed of goat that was originally from South Africa. They typically have a reddish-brown head and a white body. Males (called bucks, not billies) are typically around 200-400 pounds and females (called does, not nannies) are usually around 150-300 pounds. They are considered a 'meat goat' although they have more recently become big on the show circuit and there are many shows that are just for Boers.
Depends on what goat you're thinking of there. If it's a Boer Goat. NO.
Goats normally eat about 2% of their body weight a day.
It would depend on which is the male and female. If the female is the Nigerian Dwarf watch out for kidding problems. Other than that if they can physically reach each other it should be possible.
