It sounds to me like you need not alter anything that you are already doing, including brand or weight of oil. If you got 275k miles out of your engine so far, you are already doing the right thing, including using the right oil. Excuse me, but that is not an answer. Maybe the question is being asked by someone who just bought the vehicle.
10w30 or 10w40 is fine for all year driving in warm climates
