You can use a BMI (Body Mass Index) calculator to get a range of "preferable" weights. A BMI of 18.5-24.9 is "normal".

There is quite a wide variation in what a 'normal' weight is for any one person. This normal range depends on whether you are a boy or a girl and how old you are. So the right/normal range for a boy of 12 for example, obviously isn't the same for a girl aged 15. To see the right range of weight for you personally, look up your age on the weight chart on the internet. It is only a guide - if you want a more accurate way of finding the correct way of finding the correct weight for your gender, height and age - your so called Body Mass Index (BMI).
