Theodore Roosevelt.
Theodore Roosevelt was the 26th president of the United States. President Roosevelt was known for many things, but he is best known as the person the teddy bear was named after.

There are so many things that Theodore Roosevelt accomplished in his presidency. He contributed in the building of the Panama Canal, he broke up the industrial monopolies and established the National Park System among other things.
Theodore Roosevelt showed great qualities such as commitment, intelligence, and leadership. Commitment was shown because Theodore Roosevelt committed himself to conserve natural resources, especially during his time as president. He was considered America's first conservation president because of this and his love for nature. Intelligence was shown because Theodore Roosevelt had the idea to start conserving land and natural resources early on. If he hadn't, America wouldn't have as much land or resources as they have today. Leadership was shown because Theodore did not always succeed, but he also never gave up. He understood something called "compelling leadership"--compelling leaders at all levels understand the importance of followers, which he did. With the American people as his followers, he was able to lead them to greatness. With this in mind, he had accomplished a lot of things for America as well.
Theodore Roosevelt had trouble breathing before he died. He died quietly in his sleep because of a blockage in his veins. It was one of the few things Roosevelt ever did quietly.
Theodore Roosevelt. The big stick was the military and if things did not go the way he planned people would "get hit with the big stick" meaning that Roosevelt would bring in the military
Yes. Roosevelt was a high-energy type of person who liked to push things along and make things happen. He wanted constant action. Taft was more laid-back and contemplative.
