Since Harriet was a slave she probably did cleaning, gardening, and farming. she had a few other jobs that were not given to her because she was a slave. She worked for the underground railroad and saved over 1,000 slaves lives and she did not loose the lives of any slaves. After she rescued her brother and sister, Harriet saved 11 slaves and earned the nick-name Moses. Also Harriet helped John Brown recruit men for the raid on Harpers Ferry. Harriet helped the Union Army by becoming a scout, a nurse, and led an armed expedition to free more than 700 slaves.
