Answer:

It was only two centuries before Muhammad that idols were introduced into Arabia. Before the year 360 AD, the Arabs were all following Abraham.

After idolatry became the norm, people who refused to worship them (like Muhammad) were called "Haneef"s. They were the people who refused any but the One, Unseen God. The word "Haneef" actually comes from Abraham.

What countries are sacred to Muslims?

There some places which are scared to Muslims, I will mention some but not limited to: 1. Makkah (it contains the kabah, house of Allah) in Saudi Arabia 2. Madinah (place of the mosque of the prophet) in Saudi Arabia 3. Jeruzalem (Al - quds) as it contains the al aqsa mosque where the prophet Mohamed led the prayer for all the prophets during his night journey - in Palastine 4. Why is there no mention of Muslims in the Holy Bible?

Updated AnswerIslam is an Arabic word which means full submission and surrender to the one and only one God. In this sense, it is the call of all prophets from Noah, Abraham, Ismael, Isac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, David, Solomon,..., Jesus, and Mohamed (peace upon them all)In this sense Islam is the main teachings of all holy books including Torah, Bible, and Quran. However, if the question refers to Muslims as followers of prophet Mohamed, according to Quran revelation by God to him, then it is logic the Muslims are not mentioned in Bible since Prophet Mohamed received the first revelation from God through Angel Gabriel (Jibril) in year 610 AD. This means Islam religion breaching started around 600 years after Jesus Christ.AnswerThe Holy Bible is a Catholic/Chirtston Holy Book. It is not the Muslim's book. AnswerBecause Islam was founded about 500 years after Christianity. This is also the reason why Jesus is mentioned in the Koran. Jesus came first before Mohammed.

What is the Hijra year now in Muslims countries and why?

AnswerThe year according to Islamic calendar (or Hijra Calendar) is 1430 AH compared to 2009 AD according to Gregorian Calendar. The Hijra calendar is a lunar calendar (that is composed of 12 lunar months totaling 354 or 355 days). It is used in many Muslim countries to date the Islamic events and to celebrate festivals. The start of Hijra calendar (or Islamic Calendar) is marked by the Immigration (Hijra in Arabic) of Prophet Mohamed from Mecca (or Makkah) to Medina in year around 622 AD (Gregorian Calendar) when prophet Mohamed was informed by God that the tribe leaders in Mecca plotted for his assassination and was commanded by God to immigrate to Medina. The birth of Prophet Mohamed is dated as 53 BH (Before Hijra). The Islamic calendar is currently used in Muslim countries primarily for religious purposes to date the Islamic events, to celebrate festivals, and for official dating of public events and documents.

What is different between Shia Muslims and Sunni Muslims?

Acoording the Quran and speeches of prophet, Shia Muslims believe that just as a prophet is appointed by God alone, only God has the prerogative to appoint the successor to his prophet. They believe God chose Ali to be Muhammad's successor, infallible, the first caliph (khalifa, head of state) of Islam. Muhammad, before his death, designated Ali as his successor. Ali was Muhammad's first cousin and closest living male relative as well as his son-in-law, having married Muhammad's daughter Fatimah.

What is Makki and Madani?

Makki is an Arabic word as an adjective to what relevant to Makka (or Mecca) town in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.Madani is also an Arabic word as an adjective to what is relevant to AlMadina (Medina) town that is also located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.Quran revelation to Prophet Mohamed by God, through the Angel Gabriel (Jibril), started in year 610 AD in Mecca and continued revelation in Mecca until Prophet immigration to Medina in year 622 AD. Quran revelation continued in Medina until Prophet Mohamed death in year 632 AD including part of Quran revelation in Mecca while prophet Mohamed was back in Mecca for some period after his immigration. So, Quran chapters or Souar (plural of Surat) where called Makki or Madani according to one of two definitions:Either based primarily on the revelation place: All chapters revealed while prophet Mohamed was in Mecca are called Makki and all that revealed while he was in Medina are called Madani, orbased primarily on the revelation time: All chapters revealed before prophet immigration to Medina are Makki and all that revealed after prophet immigration to Medina are called Madani. Both approaches are acceptable.
