They never had assault rifles in those days, apart from nazi Germany who invented the MP-44, but the Russians built there first ever assault rifle, the AK-47 in 1949, which was based on the MP-44.
there were many guns manufactured by the Soviet Union during WWII. the most prominent were the Tokarev TT-32 handgun, the Moisin-Nagant bolt action rifle, the PPS-41 automatic rifle, and the PPSH-42 submachine gun
the Russians weapons varied. a famous one is the ppsh-41. this weapon was made famous in the battle of Stalingrad. they were easy to mass produce with factories turning out 8,000 units a day.
they used many weapons. they used a gas powered sniper rifle, it is called the PTRS-41.
They used a SMG called a PPSh-41

Anything 20mm or larger is considered a cannon - an entirely different class of weapons from small arms.
The list of weapons used in both wars are very extensive. I have included links which will give you a good idea of the types of planes, ships, vehicles, small arms, artillery and other armament were used in both wars.
The classification of the bazooka as a small arm is a bit questionable. Although it was carried by an individual, it was served by a gunner and loader/ammo bearer, which made it a crew served weapon. Small arms are individual weapons.
An arms factory is a place where weapons are produced.
