2. Operation Desert Storm-Iraq 1991 (less than 200 US combat fatalities)
3. Operation Restore Hope-Somalia 1992/93 (about 42 US fatalities)
4. Operations in Bosnia/Kosovo 1995
5. Operation Enduring Freedom-Afghanistan 2001-ongoing
6. Operation Iraqi Freedom-Iraq 2003-still restoring law and order

That was standard practice and it still is. All secret and classified military information is kept secret to protect the forces and the efforts to defeat the enemy.

Basically Korea & Vietnam were major communist wars. Everything after that was either religious, border disputes, drug related, or neighbor disputes.

they were as with Viet Nam. But, all Washington did was delay and screw up military operations due to time delay. Permission for an assault sent to Washington and time back to the field took days....and operations went sour waiting for permission. Now do you feel civilians should run combat operations ???????????
