Answer 1

A society that is safe, peaceful, enjoying solidarity and mutual cooperation and support, forgiving. No prostitution, no Alcohol drinking, no gambling, no raping, no theft, and no rude words and/or deeds.

Answer 2

As idyllic as that seems, we have information from Islamic sources that clarify what Islamic cities look like. The City of Medina did not have peace, solidarity or mutual support. The various tribes of the city were on the edge of warfare and did not cooperate nearly as often as perhaps they should have. Mohammed even ordered the massacre of one of the Jewish Tribes that he felt had betrayed him in a battle against the Qoreishis of Mecca. (Whether or not that was justified is something else entirely, but it is clearly not peaceful or showing mutual cooperation.)

There were a number of cities under Islam that had cultural flowering of the highest quality that could be seen in the Middle Ages. Cities like Toledo, Spain and Baghdad, Iraq were the centers of incredible learning, poetry, arts, and chemical sciences. These cities could well be classified using the modern term "metropolis" with people coming from far and wide to learn and to grow in the high cultural traditions. Society was certainly better there than elsewhere, but these cities were not immune to having criminals and unjustly imprisoned individuals. Baghdad had torture chambers relegated to Shiite Imams who were considered heretics to the Sunni Abbassid Caliphate.
