What were some common occupations in 1830 in the US?

I believe that most worked on farms, mines and cotton plantations and such. In cities they probably had jobs about the same as ours they had theatres and bankers and newspapers. some were circus clowns too. They worked day and night preforming acrobatics and stuff like that.
