The American Revolution had a lot to do with taxes. Revolutionaries felt that they were being unfairly taxed by the British government, especially since the colonies had little to no representation within the British Parliament.
Two catalysts for this were the Stamp Act of 1765 and the Boston Tea Party (1773). The Stamp Act was a tax on anything printed, and the Boston Tea Party was part of the boycott on taxed tea.
There were also some issues of religious freedom; not everyone living in the colonies wanted to remain part of the Church of England. This was why many colonists had left Great Britain in the first place. However, the American Revolution itself had much more to do with the taxes imposed on the colonies.

They revolted but were put down by US troops
we fought for it. we fought the British or UK.
The confederates revolted mainly because they did not like the idea of slavery being abolished.
They do like that to save people. If they are telling to move they are many reasons. The thing is they tell us to move to save our lives from some reasons.
