All I know is that King Henry VIII made outrageous taxes. so there is no doubt that he would demand at least 60 shillings or more? If £5.00 was a lot of money in World War 2, then 60 shillings (£3.00) would be an awful lot of money. I think that he would price his money there-ish.
I hope this is somehow useful, but it isn't accurate.
