They believed that the God Ra was a Sun-God and that everyday he travelled across the sky in a boat. He had to pass 12 gates, one for each hour of the day. He then turned into the sun to give light to the Egyptians. They believed that Osiris was murdered by his brother Seth. Seth cut his brother into pieces before hiding his parts in 14 different locations. Osiris' wife Isis recovered the parts and put them together to make the first mummy. After hearing about his father's death, Horus (Osiris' son) tryed to take revenge. Seth tore out his eye and now it is a symbol of protective watchfulness. It is known as The eye of Horus.

Yes. Amon/Amun/Amen are all the different spellings of the same god; Ra can also be spelt Re; but Amon-Ra/Amun-Ra together are a different god than either Amon/Amun and Ra/Re apart.
This answer requires some clarification. Amon-Ra, (Or Amun among other spellings) is a unification or consolidation of the earlier sun god "Ra" and of the later incarnation of Amon or Amun into "Amun-Ra." Both names refer to the same sun god. However, when in the original form of "Ra" he was said to be the brother of Osiris. Later "Ra" or "Amun-Ra" was elevated to supreme deity and Osiris the singular god of the Sun. So the "brother" technically applies to the earlier version, before the two names became one in the same, as "Amun-Ra."
Amon/Amun is the same Egyptian god, simply different spellings of the name. At one point the ancient Egyptian priests of Ra and of Amon/Amun combined the two gods creating a link between their cults.
