Many people were burned to death, espeicaly around the water, where people went to drink, and drank boiling, radioactive water. Thousands of people die, and Cities are ruined. Crops all around the world, and farm animals, are coveried in Radioactivity so may people suffer from cancer and die. If enough Atomic Bombs go off, We will suffer a nuclear Winter.

Nearby birds burst into flames in mid-air, and dry, combustible materials such as paper instantly ignited as far away as 6,400 feet from ground zero. The white light acted as a giant flashbulb, burning the dark patterns of clothing onto skin and the shadows of bodies onto walls.

The above is very horrible, very true, and very regrettable. How did dropping the bombs affect the war? When the first bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, the Japanese war leaders figured that was all we had, and kept fighting. Even though (previously) they knew they could not win the island-hopping war from Guadalcanal up to Iwo Jima, the Japanese soldiers kept killing allied troops, at the expense of a huge number of casualties onboth sides.
Given the refusal of the Japanese to surrender, a second bomb was dropped on Nagasaki. The Japanese war leaders still refused to surrender! This time, though, more practical Japanese rose up and, putting down their Army leaders, agreed to surrender.
