Through Henry VII's reign (the founder of the Tudor dynasty), the treaty of Medina de Campo was established with Spain to betroth Arthur, his eldest son to the Spanish princess, Kathereine of Aragon and the Treaty of Perputal Peace signed between him and his future son in law, James IV of Scots ceased the warfare that had been raging between the two countries for over 200 years.

Through Henry VII's son, Henry VIII's reign, his passionate fight to divorce Katherine of Aragon, his first wife in order to wed Anne Boleyn in turn lead to Protestanism and the Church of England getting its start for Henry VIII broke off from the Roman Catholic Church. Henry VIII however is most infamous for having married 6 times (Katherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anne of Cleves, Catherine Howard and Catherine Parr. Anne Boleyn and Catherine Howard would later be executed, while Katherine of Aragon and Jane Seymours were devout Catholics that wished to preserve the 'true faith' and Catherine Parr fully embraced Protestantism.

Through Henry VIII's son, Edward VI's reign, Protestantism was officially established in England, and also made Lady Jane Grey (his cousin who would later be known as the 9 Days Queen) his heir over his Catholic half sister, Mary I.

Through Henry's VIII's daughter, Mary I's reign, she seeked to undo the Protestant changes over England and her having over 300 people burned at the stake for being leaders of the Protestant movement led her to be nicknamed 'Bloody Mary'.

Through Henry VIII's other daughter, Elizabeth I's reign, she ordered the death of his cousin, Mary of Scots after the latter was accused of an assassination plot on Elizabeth's part. Elizabeth I reign also saw the start of England colonizing America, the defeat of the Spanish Armada in 1588, and a golden age which beheld England from 1558 until her death in 1603.
