The Cold War
The point of the cold war was to show which country is more powerful.
Their goal was to have the most powerful weapons in the world, but US intervened and the war became known as the Cold war
Part of being a world power during those times...powerful navies (battleships) and widespread colonies. Navies were necessary for projecting armies; no navy meant no army could land on foreign shores.
The most powerful weapon used in the Revolutionary War was likely the British Brown Bess musket. It was a standard-issue firearm for British infantry and was known for its reliability and effectiveness in battle. Other notable weapons used during this time included cannons, rifles, and swords.
After the first world war the USA became the most powerful one.
The most infamous symbol of the Cold War was the Berlin Wall.
when the united states and russia came to be so powerful
The Cold War was between the US (and its allies) against the Soviet Union (and its allies). It started in 1945, immediately after WWII. This is because at the end of WWII, the US and Soviet Union proved to be the only two world powers, and the Cold War was a "war" to see who would come out the most powerful. The United States won the "war" in 1991.
War is is stronger because of the moiusture it carrys.
the cannons
The Cold war wasn't an open fight, so no one really fought in it. It was an arms race, with nations trying to have the most, and most powerful weapons so that they would win if there was a real war. Basically it was about trying to look so fierce that the other guys wouldn't even dare to start a fight.
