The Ten Commandments were for the Jews. And they were to live righteously and be a witness for the rest of the world. The law was only to Jews. you couldn't even read them if you didn't read and understand Hebrew.

People, all people have to live by rules and regulations or there would be total chaos in the world. The Ten Commandments were the primary laws that told the Hebrews how to get along with God (very, very, important). The laws are still important today. Read Exodus 20:1-17 to see the Ten Commandments.

Jesus gives us the two greatest Commandments in Matthew 22:34-40; Mark 12:28-31.
