Best Answer

A good spark plug will have a small amount of brown deposit, the gap will be very close to the specified gap for the engine and the ground and electrode will not be visibly worn.

BUTA plug can still be faulty when it looks good

How do i take off the spark plug for 660 raptor?

The best way is to use the spark plug socket out of the factory tool kit. If you do not have that use a normal 5/8" socket to loosen the spark plug. Use the spark plug wire to snap back on after the plug is loose and pull it out. The spark plug is at the very top of the engine, the spark plug wire is a real good indicator of its location.

How can you tell if your coils are firing on a 1993 kawasaki zx11 D model?

pull a spark plug one at a time . leave it attached to the plug wire and hold the plug right next to the frame or something that will make a good ground. be sure and hold the spark plug wire boot and not the plug itself or youll get a shock you wont soon forget. i even use pliers myself. as the plug is grounded to the frame crank the engine and look for a bright blue spark . if you have spark your coils are working . no spark could be coils, plug wires, etc
