If there is a blown fuse on a Sears riding lawnmower, the fuse box is located below the seat. It is not common for a riding lawnmower to blow a fuse so there could be another cause like a short in the wiring.
It might be the bearings are shot in your jack shaft.
Usually a dead short in the wiring some where : check for cracks in wires ,key gone to ground, exctra exc.....
Most Craftsman riding mowers have a key-way that slides in the groove on the axle and in the groove of the rim. If you didn't re-install this 1/4" square piece of steel back into the rim before you put the clip on the axle these symptoms will occur.
Sears uses several manufacturers to build tractors to sears specs. Most are made by Husqvarna and MTD. They recently partnered with Simplicity for the new high end 30 horsepower, I believe the model is CTX9500 and retails for about 6,500.00 dollars. Most rear engine riders are made by Murray or Snapper.
Without looking at the setup it's hard to tell. The mower chute and the bag inlet should be right on as a mismatch would cause clogs. It should be too tough to rig a hook and loop to hang the bag.
Since looking at the blades may cause injury, the safest and easiest thing to do is to call the manufacturer (Sears) and ask. However, to save you some time, in response to a question whose answer makes no difference to the functionality of the device or of its target (i.e., presumably, a lawn), since most consumer mechanical devices use clockwise motions, you may assume the same for the device in question.
Some advantages of riding the rail travel at a cheap rate include the following; 1. Discomfort due to a lot of passengers are inside the train at the same time. 2. Bumps are rocking that may cause further discomfort. And 3. Rail passengers can not check their baggage every trip, unlike airline travelers.
