you most likely have a horrible fuel sensory causing your car to be bad at idling. also you may hvae reved your engine to hard and that is causing it to idle.

You probably have a vacuum leak. Check intake manifold and throttle body gaskets as well as vacuum lines.
In my experience Chevrolet 1500 4x4 dosent have a front wheel drive option. You should be able to drive in 2wd, 4wd high and 4wd low but no FWD.

The blower motor speed resistor is burned out. That part is available from your local auto parts store.
