Answer:

It's highly unlikely that the garden can be found. It was destroyed by the flood.

It was extant after the first parents were expelled until the flood, however, and God refused anyone entry by placing "cherubim" (kare-oo-bim), four-winged angels with four faces, with flaming swords, to deny any human access to the Tree of Life and eternal life. (Gen.3:22-24)

I doubt that if the garden site became exposed anyone would notice it, because I don't think Adam was there long enough to build any kind of edifice upon it to mark it for what it was. Therefore, if the flood hadn't washed it all away... the garden would have overgrown, decomposed and regrown many times over like any forest or jungle.

The Tree of Life wouldn't mark it, either, because God removed it with the flood and transplanted it in the Holy City, New Jerusalem. In his recorded vision of the Holy City in the book of Revelation, John wrote:

"...the angel showed me the river of the Water of Life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood THE TREE OF LIFE..." (Rev.22:1-2).

So, if the garden of Eden should by some miracle be found... the discoverer would be hard-pressed to prove it... and his claims would probably soon find their way into the National Inquirer next to Bat Boy.
