How long can a battery power a 44 watt light bulb?

To answer this question the amp hour rating of the battery is needed along with the voltage of the battery or bulb.

What is the controlled variable for a light bulb and battery?

A light bulb and a battery simply being is not an experiment, so there is no variable at all.

Do you have a diagram on 9volt battery and light bulb?

Draw a battery and light bulb. Draw a line from the smaller connector on the battery to the bottom of the light bulb, this is positive on both. Draw a line from the bigger connector on the battery to the side of the light bulb,'this is the negative of both. Looked all over and can't seem to find this one.

How do you light up a 120 volt bulb using a battery?

The principle behind those glowing orbs throughout your house is one of the most simplistic of science and circuitry. If you provide a source of energy to an able filament it will glow. Whether your source is the AC current running through your home or DC current provided by a battery, it will still yield the same result.

How can you use a wire battery and a light bulb to test an item to see if it is a conductor of electricity?

I am going to assume you meant Three wires, Battery and Light Bulb. (punctuation and plurals are important) Hook the light to one post of the battery Hooked from the light to the item being tested (use the other light connection, not the one connected to the battery) connect the other end of the test item to the unused terminal on the battery. Light comes on means it conducts electricity No Light, it does not.

Does insulation tape helps to light the bulb?

ofcource it does.when we attach it to the positive terminal of the battery the bulb lights.

What will happen if a 20K bulb is connected to a 1200AH battery?

The bulb will burn for 15 minutes.

What will happen to a bulb when you move it closer to the battery on a circuit?

Nothing special should happen. What matters for the bulb is the voltage difference between its ends.

What happens when a bulb is attached to a battery?

When a bulb is attached to a battery or a cell as scientists call it, the bulb glows. If you want a bulb to glow more and more brighter, it depends on how many batteries you attached to the bulb. If you attach a lot of batteries at the same time, the bulb might even explode or burn out. The wires that hold the interaction between a light bulb and the battery is electricity. The electricity flows through the wires and touches the bulb and that is how a light bulb glows.

How do you run electric lights off a battery?

Take a Energizer, Duracell, etc. battery (the bigger the bulb the bigger the battery) and a paper clip. Bend up the paper clip to a pretty straight line, and attach one end to the end of the lightbulb. Attach the other end to one end of the battery, and POOF! Light! If the bulb doesn't come on try attaching the paper clip to the other end of the battery. If it STILL doesn't work, get a bigger battery.

What will happen if a glass of a light bulb is connected to a battery?

Nothing, glass is an insulator.

What will happen to the electric pressure differences across the battery terminals when a second long bulb is added in parallel to a single long bulb connected to a fresh battery?

there will be little or no change

What will happen after you make an Electric Circuit?

If you connect the circuit properly the bulb should light up. That means attaching the left side of the battery to the right side of the bulb using a wire and attaching the right side of the battery to the left side of the bulb. If you do that the your bulb should turn on. If it doesn't then try changing the battery or the bulb.

How do you make to make the perfect curcuit?

The things you need for your curcuit are: A light bulb, Bell wire, A Battery and a conducter ex. pin, paper clip Attach the bulb together with the battery using the bell wire. With the two ends of the wire connect to the conducter and see if light bulb comes on.

How do you make electricity out of a light bulb fifth grade projects?

You would need tin foil ,3 volt battery and a bulb.First you wrap the tin foil around the battery and then attach the bulb your switch will be the opposite side where you place the bulb,if you press i will turn on and if you leave it will turn off.I hope that's helpful.

How do you build a conductivity tester?

Take two pieces of wire, one battery and one light bulb. Battery and light bulb should be the same voltage. Attach one end of one piece of wire to one pole of the battery (Soldering it would be best). Attach one end of the other piece of wire to the other pole of the battery and the other end of the wire to side conductor of the light bulb. You are done. To test the conductivity of something you simply touch the center conductor of the light bulb to one end of what you're testing and the other end of the first piece of wire to the other end of what you're testing. If what you're testing conducts electricity the current will run from the battery through what you're testing into the light bulb, out the other side of the light bulb and back to the battery and the light bulb will light up. If what you're testing doesn't conduct electricity, the electricity from the battery will not be able to pass through it to the light bulb and it won't light up. Good luck!

Does anything happen to the brightness of the bulb when you add an extra battery to a simple circuit?

We did this experiment in class, the more batteries added, the brighter the bulb will become!
