An egg shell is protein based, and while it is not desirable to eat as it provides little nutrition and is typically a hard and unpalatable substance, it is digestable. The acids in a human stomach would melt it and the body would absorb what little nutrition it had to offer.

∙ 15y agoThe Calcium Carbonate in the egg shell can actually be used as an antacid. Although the shell is a bit crunchy, it is actually quite good for you.

∙ 14y agoYou may become quite sick, either diahrrea or vomitting. I have also heard that eating eggs that aren't fresh may cause skin Allergies. Good luck!

∙ 12y agoWell, nothing really its great source of vitimans and nutrition. But some say you can get salminella poisioning from eating a raw egg but most of the time its safe so in my opinion go for it!
