It will depend on the recipe.
I can think of a few cake recipes that include carbonated drinks like sodas, or beer. It is quite usual to heat these ingredients first and add some baking soda to make them effervesce and drive off some of the gas before adding them to the other ingredients. Coca cola has a distinctive flavour of course.
You might like to try this recipe for Waiheke Scones and substitute the lemonade with coke:
Waiheke Scones
4 cups self-raising flour
1 cup of cream (300 ml bottle)
1 cup of lemonade
Make a well in the flour then pour in the cream. Pour the lemonade in gently so it doesn't froth too much. Stir carefully to combine. Knead only the minimum then cut and bake on a cold tray in a hot oven till golden - 10 - 15 minutes.
Adding baking soda causes bubbling or effervescence.
IF and THENFor example: IF I put mentos into a CocaCola bottle THENthe cocacola in the bottle will start to rise in a foamy texture.
It will overflow because the baking powder isn't soluble, DO NOT TY IT!!
It depends on what the recipe is
what is cocacola's aim in business?
Nothing will happen if baking soda mixed with vinegar gets on one's skin. Both ingredients, individually or combined, are harmless.
No, it is not.
