Depends on how much they drank and the size of the dog. My Airdale Terrier drank a Chocolate shake, and grapes, an d a potatoe, and lived. so it really depends on the size. THEY SHOULDN'T THOUGH. CHOCOLATE, GRAPES, AND POTATOES ARE BAD FOR DOGS.
Contrary to what you may have heard, dogs' mouths are not particularly clean, so you should not drink or eat anything that your pet has licked, lapped or nibbled. In addition -- and this is very important -- do not allow your dog to eat or drink anything that contains chocolate. Chocolate contains theobromine, which is toxic to canines. Even a minimal amount can make a small dog sick, and large amounts can be lethal.
Of course, you can share occasional tidbits of meat or vegetables from your meal with your "best friend"; just make sure that they are small and that you place the morsels in her own dish. (Don't feed her from the table.) No fatty, sugary treats or cooked animal bones, please.
well....................they really shouldnt
but....they can!
They die if they eat any kind of chocolate or they get sick.
if a puppy drinks milk they can die
Yes. Chocolate is toxic to dogs.
chocolate
The dog dies
If it drinks a lot of it, it may die - if your dog has done this take it to a vet immediately.
Nothing in particular. If a dog drinks ONLY human milk, it's not likely to do especially well. Dog milk has about twice as much fat, eighttimes as much protein, and half as much lactose as human milk.
Dogs are unable to digest animal milk of any kind other than dog milk. It would destroy their digestive system. This is also true for anything with milk in it, such as chocolate. As far as I am aware, special dog milk is made that doesn't harm their digestive system. There is also dog chocolate and dog ice-cream.
well both dogs are not suppose to have chocolate period. so i would say though dark milk chocolate would be worse!
Maybe, because chocolate is poisonous to dogs. When it happens, think of how much chocolate your dog has eaten. If your dog has ate lots of chocolate, your dog needs immediate help. If not much, call your dog's vet for more information. Always call your dog's vet if your dog has ate chocolate (any amount). So, your dog might not die automatically
Well, chocolate is considered poisonous to dogs, so they really shouldn't be eating milk duds. However, if you're dog has just one it probably will be ok, but if he were to have more than one, he could get really sick. Also, size is a factor. A big dog eating a milk dud is less of an issue than a smaller dog eating it.
Chocolate is poisonous to dogs, so this could be dangerous for the dog. It would depend on what type of chocolate the dog ate. Dark chocolate or chocolate with lots of cocoa in it is the most dangerous, with milk chocolate being less dangerous and white chocolate being the least dangerous. The size of the dog would also affect how dangerous it is, so if a big dog ate 3 pieces of chocolate it might be ok, while it could be very dangerous if a small dog ate 3 pieces of chocolate. The best thing to do is to keep an eye on your dog for 24 hours after he/she ate chocolate and if the dog shows signs of nausea, being wobbly or drinking a lot of water then the dog should be taken to the vet immediately.
A dog - or most any animal, for that matter - should not consume chocolate. It can be very dangerous to their health.
nothing.
