if u let them go at the same time, both would hit at the same time, but if u throw them with say ur arms, the Bowling ball because it goes less distance, the bowling ball will fall after about 2 feet, but the Golf ball will sail a while WRONG In a vacuum, where there is a lack of air resistance, they should hit the ground at the same time. Based on the question, the bowling ball will hit the ground first.

Assuming we're not dropping the balls in a vacuum, gravity on earth (10m per second squared or 10m/s2) is forced to contend with aerodynamics and air resistance. So, in the real world, in this case in my office in the Southern hemisphere, dropping the tennis ball and the ping-pong ball simultaneously from, say, the ceiling above my desk means that while the law of gravity commands they fall together at 10m/s2 and hit the desk at the same time, air movement in the room and the physical properties of the two balls will result in greater air resistance keeping the ping-pong ball otherwise occupied and causing the tennis ball to land on my desk first. If we drop the balls from the top of a tree outside my sunny windows, assuming no obstructions, greater air movement and warmer air inside the ping-pong ball will cause it to take the scenic route downwards, while the heavier and better-insulated tennis ball will travel more directly towards the ground.

The question doesn't specify conditions in which the two balls are dropped - indoors, outdoors, in a vacuum, and so on - so the answer here assumes the environment in which the person (me) answering the question is situated. Given more specifics with respect to physical conditions present when and where the ping-pong ball and the tennis ball are dropped, the answer will necessarily be different.

No, a thrown ball will hit first. Because since you throw it down you are giving more force to it than just gravity. A dropped ball is just being pulled down by gravity

You have not defined the parameters of your problem. Ping pong balls never hit the ground, they hit the ping pong table. Even if they miss the ping pong table, they hit the floor, rather than the ground. That's because ping pong is played indoors. Of course, you could set up an experiment that involves a ping pong ball and a golf ball, but you have not described such an experiment.

If they were both dropped at the same time and from the same height, the more dense golf ball would land first. The tennis ball would have a lot more air resistance. In a vacuum, their landing would be simultaneous.
