Does the engine crank over?
I need instructions for replacing a starter on a 1993 cadillac fleetwood broham.
Yes, replacing a starter solenoid is expensive. It is about $80.00 for the actual starter plus any man hours that go into installing the starter. It will end up costing around $400.00.
Assuming it started before the starter was replaced, the starter and/or starter wiring are not installed correctly.
you've got your wires crossed on your starter,
The starter solenoid on a Honda Element is integral to the starter. It cannot be replaced without replacing the starter as well.
Remove the starter and have it bench tested at your local auto parts store.
You have a bad starter solenoid or for some reason starter is still not getting enough current-which could be the bat or connections are corroded etc. Check bat voltage and connections (all) to starter.
yes
First check the fuses and make sure that none are blown and if they are get them replaced. If not then check the starter this may have to be done by getting a new or used starter at a junkyard and replacing it. If it doesn't work then you may have blown your engine.
remove the 2 bolts located on the top of the starter and remove.Do the same in reverse when replacing the new starter.
Sounds like starter solenoid is going bad and needs replacing
