The thought of WW3 strikes fear in most people around the world because they fear the nuclear weapons will be used to strike the United States and any other enemies someone might have.
The superpowers and the UN will do everything in their power to quell a world war. If they are unable then the death toll will be far greater than 50-70 million as it was in WW2. Some people claim at least 2/3 of the world would be damaged. Many even claim that few will survive thus there are a lot of movies showing a mere few thousand remaining.
Other problems would be total destruction of nations, agriculture, water service, electrical power, and air travel. There would be extremely little food, medicine, climate controls to keep warm or cool, clothing etc. Panic would be widespread and stealing goods and needs would be rampant.
Many say the social fabric of the world would fall apart. Let's not see what would happen. Peace is the best option.

∙ 13y agoIt is very difficult to judge the effects of world war 3. It really depends on how the war is started and and how long it lasts. Say, for example, America nukes Russia. The Russians declare war on America and nuclear winter ensues.
