First of all, is he a kid or grown? If he's a kid, take away the things that he likes to do that make him lazy-like Video Games and TV and start making him earn the privleges back. You want an hour on the computer, spend an hour doing something constructive. If he's grown, let him grow up. That's a hard one, I know I have a daughter that I had to let go of, but they have to learn on their own. Just stand back and keep an eye on them, but don't enable them either.
