What will you feel if you meet your soul mate?

This is a very interesting question from the stand point that few people ever meet their "soul mate"; someone who is totally right for them. Therefore, the only person who would be qualified to discuss this question would be someone who had met their right one. Fortunately, in addition to being a licensed psychologist, I also happened, quite by chance, to have met my soul mate some thirty some years ago and we've been together ever since.

I will preface this discussion with a quote from C. G. Jung; "The soul will never know peace until it finds its other and this other is always you." From this you can see that your soul mate is someone who is as much like you as possible. My experiences with Jeane bear out the wisdom of Dr. Jung's observation. For when two people who are almost exactly alike meet their respective Ego Structures drop their layers of defense. This lowering of defensive barriers allows the couples to form a bond at a higher level of consciousness than is possible at the level of the Ego Structure alone. This is an example of true love at first sight (as opposed to other un-healthy profound attractions). Such couples are called Natural Perfect Couples.

The attraction between a Natural Perfect Couple starts out at about the same high level of intensity as it does with lesser healthy pairs. However, with a Natural Perfect Couple the intensity of their relationship actually increases over time and stays at this never before experiences level for the remainder of their lives together (yes, I'm referring to physical attraction too).
