If a kitten kept his eyes closed for two weeks, he would only be able to see light and dark. He would not be able to see anything else.

When my cat was born it had its eyes closed then it's brothers and sisters had both there eyes open she only had one they eventually opened is there something wrong with my cat?
It is perfectly normal for a kitten's eyes to be shut for the first few weeks of their lives. Kittens are born completely blind, so even if her brothers and sisters had open eyes, they still would not be able to see anything. Some kitten's eyes open later or earlier than normal, but as long as the kitten's eyesight develops as normal, there is no reason to believe there is anything wrong with your cat.

It really depends on you. If you are a more slender woman that yes, chances are you will be able to hear the baby's heart beat. I heard my second child's heartbeat at 8 weeks, and with my first at 6 weeks, both were my initial appointments with my doctor. But if you dont hear it until 16 weeks, dont worry, it is not uncommon.
