First, there really isn't any way that the priest would know if you are or arent a catholic...its not something that they ask and if you do feel the need to tell the priest they would prolly ask you why you have chosen to come to confession and then go on like he would with anyone else. He asks what sins you have committed and forgives you for them...its not like he's going to kick you out of the confessional or anything.
