If the parking/tailight fuse is good - then it may be a bad headlight switch
No tail lights but the bulbs are working? Please explain.
Bad bulbs can be the cause of your reverse lights not working on your 1999 Toyota Tacoma. A problem with the reverse switch or bad wires can also be the cause of your reverse lights not working.
- Damaged or burnt wiring - Bad or corroded earth connection in the brake lamp cluster - Failed bulbs. (although it's unlikely that all your brake lights have blown) You can use a meter and a volunteer to check that power is reaching the bulb holder. If power is reaching the bulbs and they are working, then a bad earth connection may be the cause. Corrosion around the lamp cluster is a common cause of this. There may be problems with the other lights if the vehicle has a shared lamp cluster At any rate, it wouldn't do any harm to let a vehicle electrician take a look
Bulbs burned out?
Replace the light bulbs that are burned out, usually from the back side of the instrument cluster.
My dash lights went out and the cause was a bad alternator. new alternator fixed the problem
If the back lights on a Peugeot 206 are not working, make sure the bulbs are new. If the bulbs are not the problem, there could be an issue with the fuse.
Check the bulbs, fuse & brake light switch on the pedal.
Check the bulbs - they are doubloe filamented with the smaller being for brake/turn signals Check the fuses
Did you check the light bulbs? If OK, probably a bad reverse light switch in tranny.
