Pressure builds up in the crankcase on all internal combustion engines. If your 455 is an older model it should have an overboard vent but you still may have some pressure relieved through the dipstick tube. Newer engines use a PCV or positive crankcase ventilation valve to relieve the pressure. You probably won't have any vented through the dipstick tube if that valve is working properly. They are pretty cheap (3 to 4 dollars) and easy to change. If your pcv is clogged it may also cause your engine to use more oil than it normally would.
Yes it can.
would a bad battery cable in a 95 toyota corolla make a engine come on?
Why would you want it to come on. Its not on because theres nothing wrong with your engine.
my check engine light came on and would go off, come back on again. when i had it checked, it was my gas cap, it was leaking.
why would u want the check engine light to come on. when its off it means ur engine is running fine. or the blub is pop
my guess would be bad piston rings
If it has a downstream O2 sensor the check engine light will come on but if it does not the light may not come out. In most instances it will set the check engine light.
the carrot on a stick is actually a carrot on a stick. It can be used to control the pigs to come to you, same a the normal carrot. You can use it to control which way your pig goes if you ride it in which you would need a saddle to get on it.
That is one of many possible causes.
With the engine off, open the hood, on the engine left side is the oil dip stick with knob, pull the knob and a metal stick will come out. Wipe the bottom dry with a tissue, replace the stick in the pipe, pull out again, inspect the level, should be between two small wholes in the stick (1/2 inch distance apart), in a crossmatched area on it. Should be toward the upper one. Do not overfill. For the transmission fuild, you can check the same, while the engine is running. The dip stick for the transmission is located in the rear center of the engine, a black round inconspicuous metal knob, unmarked. You check it the same way, with the engine running at idle. Reasons the service engine light does not come on: The bulb is burned out. I would suspect this first. There is a wiring problem. The engine control module is bad.
