It most likely the fuell pump
If nothing on the dash (instrument cluster) is working, I would suspect the electrical plug in back is disconnected.
Control problem, blend door not working are the places to start
I would suspect fuel pump failure.
it may have a cracked circuit board, my blazer had the same problem
my Chevy blazer power seat on my 1996 Chevy blazer isn't working
If it is electronic (not cable driven) and both the speedometer and odometer are not working I would suspect the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) is faulty. The VSS can be found on the tail end of the transmission. If only the speedometer doesn't work I would suspect the dash cluster has to be replaced with a new or good used one. Really need to know what year S10 Blazer you have.
trying to fix simular problem
Dodge is listed in a totally different sub -category than Blazer. I think they problem is you not this site.
Either the arm on the actuator broke off (common problem) or the actuator itself burned out (which happens over time).
It has a circuit bereaker in the motor which can be weak or the linkage and transmissions can cause unusual drag on the motor. Have it checked out, I had the same problem on a GMC wiper motor of similar vintage. Solved with adding a specific ground wire from the wiper motor houseing to the frame. I have a 1997 Blazer that had the same problem. There was a recall on the wiper circuit board that fixed the problem. You may want to try if the recall was for your year of truck also.Jeff
The most common problem causing a 2000 Blazer to stay on heat is a problem with the blend door. Check the blend door and its control circuit to fix the problem.
93 tranny is electronic if your speedo isn't working it won't shift into 3 or OD. Your speed sensor is more than likely the problem.
