Intake Manifold....smelling radiator fluid fumes in cabin or white smoke in exhaust. Exhaust manifold or cylinder head....smelling burnt oil in cabin or black smoke in exhaust
For a 1998 Lincoln Town Car : It depends on which state it is sold in and if it is single or dual exhaust Single exhaust ( 200 or 205 horsepower ) Dual exhaust ( 215 or 220 horsepower )
Could be several reasons but most importantly, get the car checked out soon. If you are smelling exhaust inside the car you could get sick or worse.
Due head gasket worn out
Exhaust manifold or on catalytic conerter.

On a 1964 Lincoln it should be attached to the engine on the drivers side underneath the exhaust manifold.
The 1991-1997 Lincoln Town Car with the standard 4.6L engine has 210 horsepower if it has dual exhaust. Otherwise, the power is about 190 horsepower with the single exhaust.
