You may want to check the motor mounts, it sounds like the engine is vibrating.
The ground cable could be bad as well as check all cables for corrosion.
start by taking the door panel off ....
Electrical problem, check batt cable connections to start
what can cause a 2002 buick lesabre to not crank
Can you start your car in Neutral? If so you may have a faulty neutral safey switch.
There are several reasons that can cause your 1995 Buick Century to quit running. The most common reason is a lack of fuel. A bad fuel pump can cause the engine to quit running.
== == I do believe if you hear a knocking noise that your crank shaft could be failing. Which means you will need a new engine. Have it checked out. Replace the harmonic balancer they will make a bad knocking noise. When you start it and the oil light goes out and it knocks, this is what is wrong with it.
key reader in steering column.
Also engine turn but has a muffled sound when trying to crank. I was diving car home and car just died and would not start back up.
where is the Kill start button on a buick century 2003?
My 92 PA had a similar problem. Either the cam or crank sensor can cause this problem. If it is the fault, the error code can be read out from the computer. Mine would fail after the engine warmed up but would start again later.
My 92 PA had the same problem. After it cooled down it would start again. The crank and the cam sensors were found to be bad. These were replaced and I have had no problem since.
A frail fuel line can cause a diesel engine not to start.
Yes, just about any sensor on the engine could cause a no start.Yes, just about any sensor on the engine could cause a no start.
is the battery dead? you might need a new starter that should be around 200 dollars.
I have a 92 PA and had to replace the crank and cam sensors. Either will cause the same result. The error code will determine which is bad. The car will run, but as the engine heats up, the engine will die. It will start again after it cools off. The computer needs both signals to know when to send a fire signal to the correct spark plug.
This engine is fuel injected and does not have an old style choke. Take it to a shop and have them look at it. Not a job for a novice.
I had the same problem with a 1992 Park Avenue with the 3800 engine. I first replaced the electronic ignition but that did not fix the problem. I then replaced the crankshaft heat sensor. That fixed my problem.
