Ignition module, pick-up coil. Both of these items are in the distributor.
Bad coil are coil wire. Bad distributor cap but not likely, could be thow.
Check these things first. If you don't find the problem in this area then ask your question again.
I wouldn't recommend it. You could cause internal damage. I have no idea why you would do this anyway.

Check the ECTS. Check for spark. No spark equals bad CPS
A faulty crank sensor would cause no spark and no fuel.

The spark plug gap is .060 thousandths of an inch. If you get the AC delco platinum do not gap them, it will damage the electrode. they do not require gapping.
Intake manifold gaskets are leaking, intake manifold is warped.
Check for spark at the plugs. Check for fuel to the engine.
