who ever said that a Dodge ram diesel does not have a servo it is not true. I have a dodge diesel 2001 and it has a servo and the answer to this question is it had a vacuum leak in the servo vacuum line, changed that and cruise control worked great. the servo is under the drivers side battery.
Check the vacuum lines on the driver side of the engine.
Because a diesel engine does not create vacuum and the vacuum pump is necessary to operate things like the vacuum assist brakes and cruise control.
Ecm = engine control module. 1998 and before it controls cruise, alternator and ac. On a 1998.5 and later it also controls the actual fueling and running of the engine.
If the engine on the Santa Fe is missing, then the cruise control will not operate properly. The engine will have to run properly before the cruise can be fixed.
The cruise control is powered by the engine computer. If the engine runs, the fuses are ok.
There isn't a separate fuse. The engine computer powers the cruise control. If the engine runs, it is not a blown fuse.
The cruise control is fed by the same fuses as the engine computer. If the car runs, it is not a blown fuse. The cruise control is fed by the same fuses as the engine computer. If the car runs, it is not a blown fuse.
It depends on the size. A diesel in a small car is a couple of hundred pounds, while a diesel in cruise ship is many tons.It depends on the size. A diesel in a small car is a couple of hundred pounds, while a diesel in cruise ship is many tons.
There are no cruise specific fuses. The cruise power comes from the engine computer. There are no cruise specific fuses. The cruise power comes from the engine computer.
The cruise is fed by the engine computer. If the engine runs, the fuse is not blown.
The cruise control does not have a relay. The engine computer powers and controls the cruise.
