What would cause a 94 gmc 2500 to be hard to start if the glow plug relay has been replaced and it is getting fuel it only happens when vehicle ahs been running and is still hot and try to resart?

could be the actual glow plugs, I've seen plenty of gm trucks with the glow plugs gone that are hard to start, also try changing the fuel filter, sometimes the pump can't pull the vacuum in the low side of the fuel supply if the filter is clogged and it will give you hard starting and lower fuel economy.
