One thing that can cause a clicking noise under the car is when the bar bushings get worn out on the sway bar. Also, it could be coming from the struts if strut oil is leaking. Other things that can cause a clicking noise if not working properly are the exhaust system and the transmission clutch assembly.
If the 1996 Olds Aurora will not start and there is a clicking noise from under the front panel, check the starter. The clicking noise is probably from the starter solenoid.
back struts are bad or exhaust is loose
drive belts tensioner/under chassis
it is the door alarm
chekyour tire screws, am sure theres the problem
check your relays they sometimes need to be replaced or put back in cause of loose connections
could be the water pump. maybe radiator
The noise is possibly the electric fuel pump that is located inside the fuel tank. The tank is located under the vehicle below the rear seat.
ifs its a long loud clicking noise its the transmission solinoid pack perfectly normal this applies to a a604 transmission
Apply the parking brake, but not the driving brake, is the noise there? apply the brake,if the noise is only present when the brake is applied I would assume it is the anti-lock brake system. Get your VIN # of the vehicle and call a ford dealer and give them the # and ask if there are recalls for your vehicle. There are a few for this one but it depends on the vin. There is a anti-lock brake recall, but as I said it depends on where it was made if it falls under the recall.
its located under the front right head light. dont worry about the clicking sound its your relay.
