bad spark plugs or bad wire connection to the spark plug
Random misfire, cylinder 2 misfire, and cylinder 3 misfire. see related question below.
p0300 is a multi-cylinder misfire code it is because the logic circuit cannot determine which cylinders because they are random
Random multiple cylinder misfire, is when the engine cylinders do not fire in the correct order, and do not do it constantly. There is no particular pattern to it. My experience with this condition is that it is usually caused by a faulty ignition coil that is beginning to burn out. It could also be bad wires pluds rotor or cap
Cylinders 2 and 6 are misfiring. P0300 is random misfire. Start with a basic tune up.
P0300 is for random engine misfire p0301 and p0305 are misfires on cylinders # 1 and #5 www.lextechautomotivellc.com
Its a random misfire detected
P0300 - Random Misfire . P0300 indicates multiple cylinders are misfiring or the PCM cannot identify which cylinder is misfiring .
Check condition of the plugs, could also be coil pack(s) going out, if ignition looks good check compression all cylinders
answer : Random Misfire
Toyota, i have a 1999 and it is the same car as a 1999 Toyota corolla, except for random parts like the radio, badging and a few other things being from GM
You locate the cause of the random misfire and take corrective actions against that; be it a coil, plug, wire, coil boot or crank sensor. A random misfire is as it states - a misfire that happens randomly in possibly a random cylinder as well. They can be hard to diagnose, as well and it is recommended that you take vehicle to a qualified, ASE certified shop for diagnostics.
P1300 is Random Misfire or Random Misfire likely due to low fuel The rest relate to Bank 1 oxygen sensor failure and disconnection. I would guess you have a disconnected or damaged Oxygen sensor wiring harness causing a lean miss on several cylinders.
