Check your battery cables for corrosion. You might have to replace one or the other. Just cut back the wrap around the wiring and you will be able to tell if it is corroded or not. also check your ground wires, always over-looked
What would cause the 1995 Nissan Pathfinder not to go in forward or reverse?
Even after I put a new battery the car would not start easily. Please help.
There are several things that can cause your 1997 Nissan Pathfinder to stall. The most common cause is a lack of fuel caused by a malfunctioning fuel pump.
the speed sensor, trans. sensor , or the speedometer cable
baring? maybe a rotor?
One possible cause of a 4WD warning light on a Nissan Pathfinder Terrano to glow steadily is a faulty fuse. It may also be because the wiring is shorted.
alternator or bad wires
An idle set too high can cause a 1994 Nissan Pathfinder to run at a high RPM in 5th gear. A bad transmission gasket can also cause this.
The transmission on the 1994 Nissan Pathfinder may need to have a fluid flush. Dirty fluid will cause the gears to shift hard when transitioning from place to place.
The blower on a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder won't turn off if the switch is stuck in the on position or the relay is defective. Removing the blower fuse will cause the fan to turn off.
mass air flow sensor
A bulb that is bad or full of water may cause fog lights not to work on a 1991 Nissan pathfinder. The light may not work because of a bad switch or blown fuse.
blower motor has a short. replace blower motor
no it cant as, as long as the light isn't on
Ckean bith ends of the battery cables.
when drving around town have it off cause then it saves your gas but have it on on the highway itll give you another gear when coasting so you dont waste as much gas
try changing fuel filter first. it could also be the catalytic converter. that can get plugged up and cause your vehicle to lose power.
Electronics FailureMost likely you have a short somewhere in the dashboard electronics and the bad part is you will probably never find it.
Change your dimmer switch, it went out.the dimmer switch will allow your lights to work but cause problems with your high beam, also can cause your parking lights to short out. Change it asap
It's probably your Alternator that is going bad. That is if the battery and brake lights came on at the same time.
try the neutral safety switch
No, a starter cannot cause a battery to fail to charge. It could cause the battery to discharge quickly.

When the alternator goes bad or goes out completely, the car's battery will be drained. I suggest you pull the alternator and have it tested. If the alternator is bad, you will most likely need a new battery as well. The cost is around $200.00.
Yes, but it can be more trouble than its worth many aftermarket systems cause problems by bypassing factory anti theft
