well I'm not an expert but my fathers 1986 Ford f-150 had a 2 barrel and it make what i think might be the same noise as what you are talking about....if that is that case it is not the carbureator but the engine itself.... if you have over 290,000 miles on it it's the bearings making that noise not that carbureator but you don't have to believe me I'm only 15 and my dad was a professional mechanic for 20 years...
Quadrojet
I would check on top of the intake manifold in front of the carburetor, at least that's where the fuel filter is on a 1984 LTD Brougham 3.8 liter carburetor engine.
When you purchase a carburetor kit it comes with a full diagram.
How to you syncronize a 1984 honda prelude carburator?
No, it's fuel injected.
how do you remove the old carburetor form a 1984 ford f150 4.9
get a 4 bbl quadrejet and a interchager.Or put more sqarters into the carb.
get awebber 32/36 carb.
It should screw into the carburetor on the feed line.
the THING under a carburettor is the inlet manifold
If it's a carburetor version, there probably isn't a regulator.
Carburators don't have reset buttons.
