Their is a brake switch located on your steering wheel shaft really low or located on your brake pedal post. Goodluck.p.s. This switch is really odd in appearence: it has a u-shaped pattern on one end and is made of plastic, this will most likely be your problem in addition check and trace down your wires that go to your brake lights and make sure their not grounding out somewhere.
A short in the wiring.
The head lights are the biggest long term drain on your battery. (The starter is a heavier drain, but you can't leave it on for very long.)
Bad Battery. Bad Alternator. Lights left on by mistake. Something left running. Exc.
you drain your battery when you leave your lights on
Can be the battery has a dead cell which will require the battery be replaced. Can also be anything on the vehicle that is on pulling from the battery. Any light that is on or any relay that is stuck will drain the battery. Check under hood light, trunk light, glovebox light, interior lights, etc.
that keeps the dome lights on
A raidator in need of a flush will not cause a battery drain.
Yes, if your car sits a few days at a time and your cars interior lights periodically come on it will drain your battery.
Yes, a loose battery cable will prevent the alternator from charging the battery. The drain on the battery is not caused by the engine not running unless an accessory is left on. Most likely, the drain is caused by accessories (radio, lights, etc) while the engine is running due to the battery not receiving its charge from the alternator and then not having enough charge left to start the engine.
if the battery is in good condition and the lights are standard then 3 hours might be enough so it will not be able to restart itself but this may vary according to battery size condition and lights wattage.
Highly unlikely.
you leave the car radio wind dheild wipers and bright lights on.
