You could have a bad thermostat....mine wasn't moving at all and the fan would come on at start up.Make sure to clear your computer after you change it.

the temperature of what? temperature is the measurement of vibration on a molecular/atomic scale so at 0 kelvin anything you could imagine would cause a temperature increase because 0 kelvin is absolute 0 which means on the molecular/atomic scale nothing is moving, so a slight draft would raise the temperature.

The most probable answer is that you have a bad flasher.
Lowering the temperature will cause a decrease in gas pressure in a closed container.
